golden PIKeLET/ sheet pan cake

20 picklets or 12 pieces (if making sheet pan)
10-15 minutes for pikelets or 18 minutes sheet pan
12 month old + (or leave out the sweetener for babies under 1)
Allergens: Eggs

Ingredients

1 cup butter beans or cannellini beans (from a tin, drained and rinsed)
2 eggs
2 TBS maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1⁄2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup milk of choice
1 cup rolled oats

Instructions

In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth.

SHEET PAN CAKE-

Simply pour your batter into a baking tray of choice (with sides), add 1/3 cup of berries ontop (or choc chips) and bake for 18 minutes on 180 degrees, or until a knife comes out clean.

PIKELETS-

On a medium heat pan, add 1 TBS coconut oil, pat lightly with a paper towel to ensure it’s all coated.

Create your mini picklets, once they start to bubble turn over and cook for another minute or two.

Great additions to serve up with are nut butters, yoghurt, kefir, honey, chia berry jam or berries.
